You Are Not Born In Sin

5 But I was born a sinner, yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.

This passage is where the phrase “Born in sin” comes from. According to Pew Research Center, there will be over four billion people that make up the three Abrahamic faiths (Jews, Christians, & Muslims). That’s over half of the population that believe in the passage above.

Pause and think about that for a second… In 2020, over half of the population will be believing that humanity was conceived and born in sin. That must be a very potent collective consciousness effecting humanity directly and indirectly!

WHAT IS A SINNER?

Most dictionaries will define it in some way or another as someone who breaks divine law. For those that follow Abrahamic practices, Yahweh/God/Allah is the one who made divine law or commandments. They must be followed, or consequences will follow: consequences that will fall upon a sinner. Remember the passage above? Over half of the human population believes they “were born in sin” resulting in God’s consequences, wrath, judgment, condemnation to befall them upon conception: Making their conception Damned! Their life ultimately DOOMED! 4,000,000,000 people believe this! It’s taught from childhood and past down generation to generation amongst them.

Now each individual religion will tell you their version of how God fixed or is fixing this human damnation. They all will tell you that belief is required and must be maintained in order to receive redemption, and to obey the laws by faith. Yes, obey God’s divine law. Now that would be three ancient books you’d have to study for the rest of your life, because of course, which one is the right law? The Torah? The Bible? Or the Quran? Which God is the right one? Again, I remind you that 4 billion people make up the three Abrahamic faiths. They believe they are born sinners and cursed by their God because of their wretchedness. They must turn to their God in faith and believe in the laws and follow them. THEY BELIEVE THIS. ALL 4 BILLION OF THEM.

I declare this as negative thinking at its finest! Simply because the word "Believe" etymologically means “be loved or beloved”. Not be hated or belittled or be damned. Beloved! Beloving that you are born a sinner is not love at all. Beloving that you were fused together and formed in sin while in your mother’s womb and condemned is not LOVE. Love is an emotion or feeling best expressed in actions. Even if your mother abandoned you, she still CHOSE to carry you for nine months and push you out. I don’t care if it was for selfish or self-preserving reasons why she carried and birthed you. That’s a form of love and that’s what you were formed in. If she tried to self-abort and an emergency c-section had to be administered... She may not have wanted you, but that doctor and his team made sure you were born and lived. That is at least a form of love for one’s fellow man. Fellow hu-man.

It’s called being HUMANE. Humanity means grace. Look it up for yourself. You were born into GRACE if anything. I am not talking about pretending there is no pain in the world. I’m talking about how much it takes and costs to form and birth a human life. You were beloved somehow. Love and grace were present in some way. If it were not true, the loving and graceful acts that birthed you would not have happened, and you would not exist. That is not sinful or worthy of condemnation. THAT IS WORTHY OF CELEBRATION FOR ONE’S OWN EXISTENCE. Universe means all that exist. You exist and are a part of this universe. You’re from it according to physics and biology. We absolutely know and understand this much.

We cannot know if God exists or not because it’s a matter of faith and belief. That will always be subjective because of the mind and relativism. Why delve into uncertainty that calls your existence sinful, when you can dwell on what you absolutely know? Your existence is as graceful, awesome, wonderful, and beautiful as this universe. BECAUSE IT IS A GRACEFUL ACT TO NUTURE AND BIRTH LIFE. TO FORM LIFE IS GRACIOUS. That’s all it ever will be. Why not start Beloving this about yourself? What if over 4 billion people believed this? Your existence is proof of love and grace or you wouldn’t be here. Even if it’s because of your body’s innate will to live and fight death. That is inline with love of self and means that’s the predominant force within you keeping you going is… Love.

Love and grace are what’s in you, NOT SIN! THAT IS A LIE!! Remember only 4 billion people believe that. You don’t have to. If you are one of them, you can stop believing it and be love to yourself and tell your mind encouraging and beautiful things. Why muster up faith to hate yourself when you can simply just be yourself? It’s normal, psychologically healthy, and innate to love self. It happens with us all, but it is unhealthy to always hate self. Let go of self-hate and low imagery of self. Believe good things about your existence. It’s your mind. It’s your life. And you have this ability called THINKING that no one can control, nor does anyone have control of it, but you. Your mind thinks how you want, allow, and train it to think. I’m just suggesting think graceful thoughts. If you have no good thoughts, then create new thoughts because you are the one in control of your mind.

Choose to be… loved… beloved… believe….
